What is SwiftStash?
A friendship-bracelet treasure hunt and trading app made for Swifties. ✦
It takes one of the best parts of Swiftie culture — trading friendship bracelets — and turns it into a real-world game.
Swifties hide bracelets around their city, leave clues in the app, and other Swifties go find them.
But SwiftStash is about more than just finding. The idea is to keep the tradition of trading friendship bracelets going. Find a bracelet. Keep it. Replace it with one of your own so another Swiftie gets to have that same little moment of joy.
How It Works
- STEP 1
Find a Stash
Open the app and tap the Find icon to see SwiftStashes near you. Pick one, follow the clue, and start hunting.
- STEP 2
Log Your Find
Found it? Create a free SwiftStash account, open the stash in the app, and log your find. The bracelet is yours to keep.
- STEP 3
Replace It
Leave a friendship bracelet back in the same hiding spot for the next Swiftie. You don't have to replace it immediately — come back when you're ready. That's how a stash becomes a trade. A stash location should never be empty.
- STEP 4
Hide Your Own
Want to start a new one? Hide a friendship bracelet in a safe, public, accessible place, add the stash to the app, and leave a clue for someone else to solve. A little mastermind energy is encouraged. 😉
Where It Started
SwiftStash launched in Savannah, Georgia, with the first stashes hidden around the city.
The goal is simple: let the hunt spread from one Swiftie, one bracelet, and one city to the next.
A Few Simple Rules
- Find it. Keep it. Replace it. Repeat.
- Keep stashes in safe, public, accessible places.
- Respect private property.
- Don't hide anything somewhere dangerous, restricted, or difficult for others to reach.
- Keep Swifties who might have disabilities in mind.
And most importantly: keep the trade going.
